Four people have been injured after a three-car smash in Sydney’s southwest, with police now calling for witnesses or footage of the incident as they try to piece together what happened.

A three-car crash that left four people injured in Sydney’s southwest is now under investigation, with police calling for witnesses or footage of the peak-hour incident.
Fairfield Police, paramedics and firefighters were called to the intersection of Smithfield Rd and Beavors St, Prairiewood, just after 5.30pm on Wednesday following reports of a crash.
Police have been told a Toyota Corolla and Ford Raptor collided on Smithfield Rd, causing the Ford to travel onto the wrong side of the road and crash into a Hyundai iLoad.
The driver of the Ford - a 17-year-old P-plater - was not injured.
His front passenger, a 16-year-old boy, suffered neck and leg injuries, while another passenger, 18, suffered chest injuries.
A 19-year-old woman behind the wheel of the Corolla and the driver of the Hyundai van, a 29-year-old man, sustained non life-threatening injuries.
All occupants were taken to hospital and a crime scene was established.
Anyone who witnessed the crash or who may have dashcam or CCTV footage is urged to contact police.
