A 10-year-old boy is in a critical condition after being hit with a car in Sydney’s southwest.
About 8.40am this morning, emergency services were called to North Liverpool Rd, Mount Pritchard after reports of a traffic incident involving an injured pedestrian.
NSW Ambulance paramedics treated a 10-year-old boy who had been hit by an SUV and sustained pelvic and head injuries.
He was flown to the Children’s Hospital in Westmead in a critical condition.
The driver, a woman believed to be in her 30s, was taken to the Liverpool Hospital for mandatory testing.
Officers from the Fairfield City Police Area Command have established a crime scene and are investigating the incident.
