A southwest Sydney teen was enlisted as a cocaine dial-a-dealer allegedly by a 17-year-old boy, who became so agitated with her delivery times he hopped in her car to show her how to deal faster.

Faridh Zangourzadeh, 19, faced Downing Centre Local Court on Tuesday after pleading guilty to three separate charges of prohibited drug supply.

Agreed police facts state the St Johns Park teen and a female associate were enlisted on July 30 to deliver 12 bags of cocaine to multiple eastern suburbs addresses by a young person who cannot be legally identified.

At the first address, the pair were advised via encrypted messaging app Wickr to supply three bags of cocaine for $1200.

“Because the two accused females had not done this ‘dial-a-dealer’ crime before, they were taking a long time to make their deliveries,” agreed police facts state.

“This infuriated the young person and he demanded they pick him up so he could teach them to be more efficient.”

The pair then picked up the 17-year-old at Coles Revesby and they continued their deliveries.

Before the third delivery, agreed police facts state Zangourzadeh and the female associate told the teen they did not want to supply any more drugs.

“The young person became abusive and intimidatory towards the females and out of fear they agreed to finish the run with the young person,” the facts state.

At 10:17pm on July 30, Raptor Squad Highway Patrol pulled over their vehicle at Macleay St, Potts Point due to a broken headlight and expired registration.

Police searched the vehicle before placing Zangourzadeh, the other woman and the teenage boy under arrest and taking them to Kings Cross police station for questioning.

“The two accused females, after speaking with legal representatives participated in electronically recording interviews giving full and frank admissions to the matters,” agreed police facts state.

Evidence of the drug offences were confirmed on the mobile app Wickr on Zangourzadeh’s and the other woman’s phones.

At court, Zangourzadeh’s solicitor Mr Said said his young client had learned her lesson.

“She said ‘I know I made a mistake, I’m glad I got caught and I’ve learned my lesson’ to police,” Mr Said said.

“She knows she shouldn’t have done it – she was young and influenced in the decision making process.”

Police prosecutor Mr Luthra submitted the imprisonment threshold had undoubtedly been crossed.

“It’s three separate prohibited drug supplies in a short period of time,” Mr Luthra said.

“The prosecution says general and specific deterrence looms large as these are prevalent offences.”

Magistrate David Price suggested Zangourzadeh’s lesson might be most effectively learnt in full time custody, prompting an appeal for leniency from Mr Said.

“She’s going to learn a much harder lesson in jail this afternoon.” Mr Price said.

“She’s a drug dealer supplying cocaine, why shouldn’t she go to jail right now?”

Taking into account an additional offence of participating in a criminal group, Mr Price convicted Zangourzadeh and sentenced her to a 12-month intensive correction order with supervision.
