Police were called to Sky Land Hammurabi on The Boulevarde in Fairfield Heights about 7.45pm on Sunday after reports of an assault.
Officers attached to Fairfield City police arrived at the scene and found a 45-year-old man suffering from stab wounds in his shoulder and back.
He was treated by paramedics before being taken to Liverpool Hospital in a critical condition.
A crime scene was later established and police are investigating the alleged incident.
After inquiries, a 20-year-old man was arrested at Fairfield police station on Monday where he was charged and refused police bail.
However, Majoja was granted bail by Magistrate Emma Manea where he must report to Fairfield police station once a week.
He mustn’t enter any licensed premises as well as Sky Land Hammurabi.
Before his release, Majoja is required to abide by electronic monitoring, strict curfew conditions and one acceptable person must enter a bail security of $20,000.
The matter returns to court in September.
