Wade Grogan killed after crash at Condobolin

A small community in the state’s central west is trying to come to grips with the death of a popular resident who was killed in a single vehicle crash.

A family and small community is in mourning following the tragic death of a 33-year-old Condobolin man on Sunday.

About 12.30am Wade Grogan was found ejected from a Nissan Navara after it crashed on the Lake Cargelligo Road, 100 kilometres west of Parkes.

Police said paramedics treated Mr Grogan at the scene, however he passed away a short time later.

On social media, family members, friends and grieving community members posted tributes to Mr Grogan.

Matthew Pawsey said news of Mr Grogan’s death was not something he “wanted to be seeing ever”.

“Rest in peace mate, had some bloody good memories that’ll never be forgotten,” he posted.

Sophie Saunders said Mr Grogan would be missed forever and always loved.

“Forever in my heart big cuz … I hope you’re resting peacefully, our hearts are broken and I will see you on the other side,” she posted.

Another friend of the family told The Dubbo News Mr Grogan “was a great kid”.

A police investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash is ongoing and a report will be prepared for the coroner.
