Suspicious package delivered to Dubbo Business, Wingewarra St

A second mysterious package has been delivered to a business – a day after a central west police station was evacuated after a white powder was discovered. Here’s what we know.

Suspicious substance delivered to Dubbo Police Station

A police operation has concluded in relation to a package received at a business on Wingewarra Street, Dubbo, on Tuesday morning.

Fire and Rescue Hazmat crews were in attendance and secured the package about 10.30am on Tuesday morning.

There is no threat to the community.

This comes less than 24 hours after member of the public delivered a suspicious package to the Dubbo Police Station.

Witnesses have told The Dubbo News people in the station were asked to evacuate the premises.

A NSW Police spokeswoman said the two incidences are being investigated.
