A police operation is underway at a Central West police station after a suspicious package was delivered by a member of the public. Here’s the latest.

A police operation is underway at Dubbo Police Station in relation to a package a member of the public brought into the station.

Emergency services, including Fire and Rescue Hazmat crews are in attendance to secure the substance and decontaminate affected areas.

A police statement noted there is “no threat to the community”.

“Police response to the community remains unaffected,” the spokeswoman said.
