Two additional men have been charged after allegedly stealing firearms and a ute from a rural property in Dubbo.
A property on the Newell Hwy was allegedly broken into on April 23, 2023, with firearms and a HiLux ute towing a trailer holding an ATV allegedly stolen in the early hours of the morning.
Orana Mid-Western Police District and the Rural Crime Prevention Team established Strike Force Sako to investigate the incident.
Zac Murphy, of Tamworth, was charged at Tamworth Police Station in September with seven counts of using or supplying a stolen firearm or firearm parts.
The 28-year-old remains before the courts.
Following further inquiries, officers attended a home in Wongarbon about 7.20am on Monday and issued a court attendance notice to a man for receive property-theft serious indictable offence.
The 24-year-old man will appear at Dubbo Local Court on April 10.
A 23-year-old man attended Dubbo Police Station about 7.55am the same day, where he was arrested and charged with possessing a shortened firearm without authority.
He was granted conditional bail to appear at Dubbo Local Court on March 27.
Investigations under Strike Force Sako are ongoing.
