Orange: teenage girls charged with aggravated robbery
Two teenagers allegedly assaulted and robbed a 13-year-old girl in a Central West town, while a 14-year-old boy was allegedly involved in a break-in.

Two teenage girls have been charged after they allegedly assaulted a 13-year-old girl outside of a Central West business last month.
Three girls approached the girl and a 15-year-old boy outside of a business on Summer St, Orange, around 4.40pm on May 31.
The group of girls then allegedly assaulted the girl after an argument.
A passer-by intervened and the three girls fled on foot with the other girl’s mobile phone, which was later retrieved in an alleyway.
Following inquiries, police attended a home in Orange and arrested two girls aged 16 and 13 around 10.40am on Thursday.
They were both taken to Orange Police Station.
The 16-year-old girl was charged with robbery and hindering police, while the other girl was charged with assault occasioning in actual bodily harm in company of others, common assault and hindering police.
They were both granted conditional bail to appear at a children’s court on June 20.
In a separate incident, a 14-year-old boy was arrested following an investigation into break-ins in Orange earlier this month.
A Mercades Vito allegedly rammed through gates at a mechanical workshop on Edward St, Orange, where a motorbike was then allegedly stolen about 3.40am on June 6.
The vehicle was located at 8am the same morning on Goorawin Rd, Orange, and seized for forensic examination.
Checks revealed the car was allegedly stolen from a home on Allenby Rd overnight.
Following inquiries, police attended a home on Anzac Pde and observed a motorbike in the yarn around 10.45am.
After speaking with the homeowner, the motorbike was seized.
A 19-year-old man was charged on June 9 and remains before the courts.
Police were patrolling Orchard Grove Rd, Orange, when they stopped and spoke to a 14-year-old boy.
He was arrested and taken to Orange Police Station.
The boy was later released and will be dealt with under the Young Offenders Act.
