Dubbo: E-bike rider seriously injured after allegedly fleeing police on Whylandra St
A police pursuit in Dubbo was brought to a halt when an alleged fleeing e-bike rider plunged off an embankment and smashed into a creek bed, leaving him with serious injuries.

A police pursuit in Dubbo was brought to a halt when an alleged fleeing e-bike rider plunged off an embankment and smashed into a creek bed, leaving him with serious injuries.
The chase began just after 3am on Friday, when Orana Mid-Western Police officers attempted to stop the 41-year-old rider on Whylandra St.
He allegedly failed to stop, initiating a police chase through local streets.
Minutes later, the 41-year-old rider lost control, plunging off an embankment and hitting the creek bed.
The officers provided immediate aid before NSW Ambulance paramedics took him to Dubbo Base Hospital in a serious condition with extensive chest and leg injuries.
A crime scene was established, with Crash Investigation Unit specialists also examining the site.
A critical incident team from Central West Police District will investigate the circumstance surrounding the incident, with an independent review to follow.
