Orange: Jamaine Christian, 18, charged following multiple alleged break-ins

A teenager has been charged with 17 offences in relation to an alleged police pursuit and break-ins in the state’s central west.
Jamaine Christian, 18, was arrested at a correctional facility in Grafton following an investigation into multiple break-ins and a pursuit in Orange between April 1 and April 26.
He has been charged with five counts of being carried in a stolen vehicle, five counts of wearing a face disguise with an intent to commit an indictable offence, two counts of aggravated break and enter in company to steal and three counts of driving while never obtaining a licence.
Christian has also been charged with not stopping during a police pursuit and exceeding the speed limit by more than 30km/h.
He was remanded in custody to appear in Orange Local Court via audiovisual link on Wednesday, where he was formally bail refused to reappear on Thursday.
