Andrew Doolan arrested at Bourke after allegedly breaking into multiple Dubbo homes
An L-plater who allegedly threatened a woman with a knife before breaking into multiple homes and stealing a car in the state’s central west has been charged more than 350km away.

A man has been charged after he allegedly threatened a woman with a knife, broke into multiple homes and stole a car in Dubbo this week.
Bourke Shire man Andrew Doolan, 27, was arrested on Tuesday, a day after police were called to a home in Dubbo about 9.20pm following reports of a domestic incident.
Orana Mid-Western Police District officers arrived and were told he allegedly chased a woman with a knife and fled the scene before police arrived.
No injuries were reported.
Following the incident, police received multiple reports that several homes nearby had been broken into with clothing, electronic devices and a car being stolen.
About 5.30pm on Tuesday police arrested Doolan at a home on Tudor St, Bourke.
He was taken to Bourke Police Station where he was charged with two counts of aggravated commit serious indictable offence in dwelling with people there, aggravated break and enter with intent knowing a person was there, taking and driving conveyance without consent of owner and a learner not accompanied by driver/police officer/tester.
He was refused bail to appear before Lightning Ridge Local Court on Wednesday.
He was subsequently refused bail and the case was adjourned to May 22.
