Operation Ambush: Four men charged following domestic violence-related and property offences in Orange and Condobolin

Four men have been charged following a police operation targeting illegal hunting, trespass and rural crime in the state’s central west.
The Rural Crime Prevention Team conducted a four-day proactive operation in Condobolin and Lake Cargelligo between Thursday and Sunday.
Operation Ambush was conducted by Rural Crime Prevention investigators, with assistance from the Central West Police District, which involved a large number of rural patrols, property inspections and firearm audits, vehicle stops and searches.
Police attended a home on Orange St, Condobolin, and arrested a 38-year-old man wanted on outstanding arrest warrants around 6pm on Sunday.
Gregory Fisher was taken to Condobolin Police Station where police executed the three outstanding warrants for assault and property-related offences.
The man was refused bail to appear at Orange Local Court on Tuesday.
He was refused bail by the same court and would return March 21.
In a separate incident, police attended a motel in Orange to arrest a man in relation to a domestic violence incident at a home in Orange around 10.20am on Thursday. The incident occurred on March 6.
John Ney was arrested and taken to Orange Police Station where he was charged with contravening an AVO.
The 33-year-old was refused bail and appeared at Orange Local Court on Thursday, where he was given conditional bail to appear at the same court on Tuesday.
Ney denied the allegation.
He was granted conditional bail and is to return May 24.
Another 33-year-old man was charged at a motel in Orange in relation to a domestic violence incident on March 6.
He was also charged with contravening an AVO.
The man was refused bail and appeared at Orange Local Court, where he was given conditional bail to appear at the same court on Tuesday.
In another incident, police received a report of a domestic violence incident at a home on Hall St, Condobolin 9.30pm on Wednesday.
The 54-year-old man was charged with stalking/intimidation and common assault the following day.
He was refused bail and appeared at Orange Local Court on Friday, where he was formally refused bail to appear at Parkes Local Court on Thursday.
Investigations are ongoing.
