A man has died following a crash involving a motorcycle and ute in the state’s central west.
Officers from the Central West Police District were called Landrace Rd, Forbes at 7.25am on Monday, after receiving reports of a two vehicle crash.
Police arrived on the scene, discovering a motorcycle and a utility vehicle had collided.
The motorcyclist – a 32-year-old man – died at the scene.
The driver of the utility vehicle – a 45-year-old man – wasn’t injured and was taken to Lachlan Health Service for mandatory testing.
Police have established a crime scene and are investigating the incident.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
