Dubbo: Boy, 14, charged over alleged aggravated break-in, car theft on Alfred St
An alleged teenage intruder, who is accused of fleeing with keys and a car after being confronted by home owners, has been charged more than a month after the incident.

Police claim the owners of a home in the state’s central west confronted a teenage intruder before the boy allegedly fled the property with keys and a car.
A 14-year-old suspect has now been more than a month after the alleged incident.
In a statement, NSW Police said Orana Mid-Western Police District officers investigated reports of an aggravated break-in at a home on Alfred St, Dubbo, just before 2am on June 15.
“Police were told the owners confronted a teen before he allegedly fled with car keys and a Toyota Corolla,” the statement said.
The vehicle was located in a driveway on Moad St, Orange, about 9am the next day.
It was seized for forensic examination.
Following inquiries, police attended a home in Dubbo about 8pm on Thursday and arrested a 14-year-old boy.
He was taken to Dubbo Police Station and charged with aggravated break and enter, vehicle theft, and driving without ever being licensed.
The teen was refused bail to appear at a children’s court on Friday.
Police said his arrest was part of Operation Boa, which was was formed in January with the aim of targeting criminal activity in Dubbo and surrounding areas.
