Blacktown City Show Tickets

Just like the Royal Easter Show, Blacktown City Show offers a host of rural attractions, which will be back for another year at Blacktown Showground next month.

ITÂ’S when the country comes to the big smoke.

A ute muster, gymkhana and Blacktown City Showgirl competition are some of the attractions at the annual event.

There’s also the horticultural and craft shows and a fireworks display.

The show has a proud history of more than 90 years.

The first show was staged at the Blacktown School of Arts on April 22 and 23.

The Blacktown Show Society and Blacktown Advocate are giving away 10 family tickets (two adults and two children) worth $25 each to the Blacktown City Show on March 8 or 9. To enter, complete the entry form at the base of this story, follow the prompts to submit your entry. Entries close on Friday, February 28 at 5pm. Winners will be drawn on Monday, March 3, at noon and will be notified by phone and announced on the competitions page on March 5. This competition is authorised under the NSW Permit LTPM/13/01163. 1.    Information on how to enter form part of these conditions. Entry into the competition constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.

2.    Entry is only open to NSW residents. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, and its agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter the promotion. Winners under 18 years of age must be accompanied be a responsible adult.

3.    The period for entry into the promotion commences at 9.00am February 12 and closes 5.00pm February 28, 2014.

4.    To enter, complete the entry form online at www.blacktownadvocate.com.au and follow the prompts to submit your entry.

5.    This competition will run in The Blacktown Advocate and on their website www.blacktownadvocate.com.au

6.    We have 10 family tickets (two adults and two children) worth $25 each to the Blacktown City Show on March 8 or 9,2014.

7.    This is a promotion based on chance, with winners being picked at random. Winners will be notified by phone. The judge’s decision is final.

8.    Winners will be drawn on March 3 and announced on the competition page at blacktownadvocate.com.au on March 5, 2014.

9.    The total prize pool for this promotion is maximum $ 250 AUD only.

10.    Any additional expense incurred as a result of winning this prize is the responsibility of the winner.

11.    Prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, non-exchangeable, non-replaceable and non-redeemable for cash.

12.    To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not responsible or liable for:
a. Inaccurate / incorrect transcription of entry information;
b. Purported entries that are not received for any reason, including because they are lost, misdirected or stolen, or that are received, but are late, illegible, incomplete, sent with insufficient postage (where entry is by post), or sent other than as directed in the entry instructions;
c. Any problems or technical failures of any kind, including malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems or network, servers or providers, computer equipment, or software;
d. The unavailability or inaccessibility of any service whether or not caused by traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website;
e. Unauthorised human intervention in any part of the competition;
f. Electronic or human error which may occur in the administration of the competition;
g. Any loss suffered or sustained, to person or property and including, but not limited to, consequential (including economic) loss by reason of any act or omission, deliberate or negligent, by the Promoter, or its servants or agents, in connection with the arrangement for supply, or the supply, of any goods or services by any person to a prize winner and, where applicable, to any family/persons accompanying a winner; or
h. Any injury or damage to persons or property, including to the participant's or any other person's computer related to, or resulting from, participation or downloading any materials in this competition.

13.    If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition (subject to approval by NSW Office of Liquor Gaming and Racing). The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of, entries. The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any email or entry to be received by the Promoter on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Website, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in this competition.

14.    The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
