Tiana keeps a forensic eye on all-round success with plenty of study and sport this year

AUSTRALIAN Youth Olympics gold medallist Tiana Penitani has a lot on her plate with HSC studies and sport commitments.

AUSTRALIAN Youth Olympics gold medallist Tiana Penitani has a lot on her plate with HSC studies and sport commitments set to clash throughout the year.

But the talented 17-year-old, who recently starred in the Rugby Sevens tournament at the Sydney-based games, said she could easily handle the juggling act because of her high work rate and positive attitude.

"I've always lived a busy lifestyle so it isn't too much of a big change for me," Penitani, of Matraville, said.

She said she hoped to be selected in the Australian Rugby Sevens Team for the 2014 Youth Olympic Festival in China.

Academically she wants to attain a HSC score high enough to study a Bachelor of Policing at university in order to work in the field of forensics and homicide.
