Souths halfback Adam Reynolds starred in his clubÂ’s 30-10 win against Parramatta on a miserable afternoon at ANZ Stadium.

The goal-kicker scored one try, had another disallowed and set up two others to guide the Bunnies to a convincing victory to remain in top-spot on NRL the ladder after 15 rounds.

Eels winger Ken Sio crossed in the corner to open the scoring in the 12th minute. Chris Sandow’s conversion was unsuccessful, leaving the score at four points to nil.

A try each to Souths pair Dylan Walker and Dylan Farrell, both off grubber kicks, gave the Rabbitohs the lead going into the break, 12-4.

Three minutes into the second half, stand-in Souths fullback Justin Hunt won the race to the ball off a Reynolds kick to give the home team a healthy 18-4 lead.

However, a poor South Sydney pass was intercepted by Sio, who raced ninety metres to touch down in the corner for his second four-pointer.

But Parramatta were unable to close the gap any further when Reynolds scored in the 58th minute and Souths captain John Sutton dived over five minutes later.

Reynolds’ successful conversion capped off a brilliant game, a perfect goal-kicking record.

Souths play the Canberra Raiders this Friday night at ANZ Stadium.
