RANDWICK Petersham are one win away from qualifying for the final of the first grade Twenty20 competition.

The Randy Petes take on Sydney in today's semi-final with the winner progressing through to the final to face the winner of the second semi-final between Campbelltown-Camden and St George.

The Randy Petes head into their semi-final clash full of confidence after beating Sutherland in the quarter-finals by 19 runs.

Batting first the Randy Petes made 7-154 before restricting Sutherland to 7-135.

Opener Rory Burns was the star for the Randy Petes top-scoring with 42 of just 28 balls while captain Adam Semple added valuable support with 39 off 28.

Nathan Price (37 off 31) was the only other batsmen to make it into double figures.

Jake Wilson was the pick of the bowlers with 2-22.

Today's semi-final starts at 2.30pm at Drummoyne Oval.
