Randwick lost to competition leaders Eastwood on Saturday, at a water-logged Coogee Oval.
The slippery conditions made attacking rugby difficult and it was Eastwood who adapted better.
Winning the kicking dual Eastwood dominated territory, and poor discipline by Randwick saw the penalty count rise and so to the scoreboard.
The match saw the return of Waratahs star Drew Mitchell, selected on the wing for the Galloping Greens.
Mitchell looked dangerous in attack, and was rewarded for his efforts, crashing over early in the second half to register the Galloping Greens only try.
Eastwood were too good though, beating Randwick 29-7, proving why they are the competition pace-setters.
