BEASTIES dropped their second straight game in the Shute Shield competition losing 49-31 to West Harbour.

The Pirates were impressive in their 18-point win over Eastern Suburbs at Concord Oval Saturday.

A younger Beasties squad really took it to the monstrous West Harbour pack but simply could not stop them rolling forward.

Captain Anton LaVin, Billy Johnston, Michael Fakava, Archie King and Ben Willis all crossed the line for Easts.

Easts will head home to take on Parramatta at Woollahra Oval from 3pm on Saturday.

Ninth-placed Beasties will be looking for a strong finish to their season with games against Parramatta (eighth) and Sydney Uni (fourth) to finish the season.
