MILEY Fraser has only been training with Cranbrook Eastern Edge Swimming Club for 10 months, but has already garnered impressive results.
The 12-year-old St Clare’s College Waverley student finished fourth in the finals of the statewide Speedo Sprints last month.
The Bondi Junction resident came to the attention of Cranbrook Eastern Edge coaches after impressing at her school carnival.
Miley has a back-up career as a dentist in mind, but hopes to have a real go at swimming. She hopes to be in contention for the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games.
“Hopefully she will qualify for national age,” coach Gai Campbell said.
“Provided she keeps up her training; she has certainly got the ability and the drive to do it.”
