ON SUNDAY, Thomas Burgess, 21, became the last of the four Burgess siblings to make his top-flight debut for the Rabbitohs, playing in the ladder leader's 30-10 NRL win over Parramatta.

"I'm really proud of the way he performed. He just stayed calm and did his job for the team," Sam Burgess said of Thomas.

English international Sam, 24, was the first Burgess to wear Souths' colours in 2010.

He was followed in 2011 by Luke, now 26, while Thomas's twin George got his call-up to first grade in 2012.

As yet, all four have not been selected in the same first-grade side.

"To all be at the same club and to have all played for the first team not together just yet is a great achievement," Sam said.

Thomas was given his chance in first grade when George was suspended after admitting to damaging property in Cairns.

"George is a great kid. He will be fine with everything. He'll bounce back from it," Sam said.
