THE South Sydney Rabbitohs have put their premiership campaign back on track, with a 32-4 victory over the Gold Coast Titans at Skilled Park.

THE South Sydney Rabbitohs have put their premiership campaign back on track, with a 32-4 victory over the Gold Coast Titans at Skilled Park.

The Burgess brothers starred, with both Sam and George bagging tries, to put last week's loss to St George behind them. Sam opened the scoring for the Bunnies in the 11th minute, barging his way over for the first try of the match.

Not to be outdone, George, then crashed over in a similar fashion, to bring the score out to 14-0.

Five minutes after halftime, Sam completed his brace of tries to give Souths a seemingly unassailable 20-0 lead.

The Titans finally managed to cross over in the 61st minute through winger Kevin Gordon.

Promising Souths youngster Luke Keary scored his first NRL try in the 67th minute, and then scored another 10 minutes later.

After his 200th match for the Rabbitohs, captain John Sutton was quick to praise his side.

"We've got a great squad," Sutton said.

"It's very competitive. Everyone in the lower-grades is pushing hard for a first-grade spot."

Souths vs North Queensland Cowboys on Saturday, August 3 at 7.30pm at 1300SMILES Stadium, Townsville.
