THE Scots College Firsts basketball team has won the GPS championship for the third consecutive year.
THE Scots College Firsts basketball team swept the competition from the court this season, winning the GPS championship for the third consecutive year.
Scots defeated Newington College in the final game, making it an undefeated season for the talented team.
Scots also won the Sydney Schools Shootout and Trinity Cup Championships this season.
"Jonathan Mbakwe was unstoppable," school basketball director David Todd said.
"He scored 28 points during the final match and was backed up by teammates Kai Healy and Sergio Antelmi, who also gave outstanding performances."
Kai represented Australia in the under-18 three-on-three at the Youth Olympics last year.
Gerard Martin also won an Australian Institute of Sport basketball scholarship this year.
