NSW Swifts coach Lisa Beehag has resigned.
NSW Swifts coach Lisa Beehag has resigned.
Beehag, who has held the position for the past two years after replacing long-serving Julie Fitzgerald, opted to quit after reflecting on the season for the past two weeks.
The Swifts finished eighth this year with just four wins.
"I have taken the last two weeks to reflect back on our season and it has not gone the way we hoped or planned," Beehag said.
"The past two years have had their challenges and rewards, and I believe I have made a positive impact. However, I feel it may be time for someone else to come in with a different approach.
"I am still passionate about coaching and making a difference in netball, and wish NSW Swifts all the best going forward and I am looking forward to my next challenge."
Netball NSW is to the start the search for a new coach immediately.
