Bondi to Coogee coastal walk crowned TripAdvisor’s number one attraction in Sydney
FORGET the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge, and definitely cast aside the Manly Ferry — just one attraction is king in the harbour city.

The Bondi to Coogee coastal walk has been crowned the Number One attraction in Sydney by international travel website TripAdvisor.
The 6km walk, which hugs the dramatic coastline of Bondi, Tamarama, Bronte, Clovelly, Gordons Bay and Coogee, is the most popular drawcard for international visitors all-year round.
This makes it a more desirable destination than a leafy stroll through the Botanic Gardens or an afternoon exploring the historic Rocks.
From a total of 4410 reviews on the website, a whopping 3400 contributors gave the walk a rating of excellent, and a further 800 rated it very good.
The walk has also received a Certificate of Excellence from the website, which it awards to the most consistently highly reviewed attractions on Earth.

One visitor from Fort Lauderdale, US, crowned it “the best coastal walk I’ve ever seen”.
Another visitor, this time from Malaysia, said “despite being on the heavier side” she had walked the entire route and “the views were worth every bead of sweat”.
A Canadian visitor was also pleased by the experience — “You took my breath away”.
But it seems you can’t please everyone. One German contributor to the site was disappointed by the swell at Bondi — “if sitting too close the waves can wet your items. Not good for insurance. Do not recommend”.
