Love is in the air at the Grounds of Alexandria.
Journey through their latest Valentine’s Day installation, a dreamy bohemian love story.
There you will find an abundance of natural elements including wildflowers, earthy tones, fairy lights, lanterns, eclectic rugs and chandeliers.
The installation will be open to explore from 7am to 9pm daily, until Sunday March 10.
On the night of Valentine’s day the grounds will host a special event in the garden.
There will be five different interactive food stations, designed by executive chef, Paul McGrath.
The seafood bar will be set on ice, with chefs serving a range of freshly shucked oysters, freshly sliced sashimi, made to order crab on brioche rolls and more.
The Spanish tapas grazer will have everything from potato and chorizo croquettes, marinated octopus with paprika aioli, corn and cheese empanadas as well as roasted red peppers with sausage.
The wood-fired offering will serve vegetarian and vegan dishes.
The barbecue menu will serve up fire roasted free range chickens, succulent beef sirloins, and pasture fed lamb shoulders.
The dessert laneway will have fresh churros, design your own doughnuts, a gelato card and a make your own s’mores station.
The Potting Shed also have a four course dinner with live music under fairy lights and greenery.
The ‘Lets get sem-naked cake, is the Grounds of Alexandria’s limited edition cake of the month.
It’s a raspberry sponge cake, layered with raspberry confit, lychee cream cheese and lychees, finished with semi-naked butter cream icing, a fresh peach rose and dried florals.
The cake of the month will be available in The Cafe for $24, until Sunday March 10.
