It was violence on the dancefloor for four party people who unleashed fury on strangers, security guards and riot police during a brutal night out in Sydney’s CBD.

Violent spotfires erupted inside The ArtHouse Hotel on Pitt Street as the clock ticked close to midnight on Saturday, April 17 where a party crew was drinking and having a good time.

The night turned sour when Romada Sema Tuigamala, of Yagoona, saw a man on the dancefloor who he believed had cheated on his partner’s sister, court documents state.

The 26-year-old labourer, after a short conversation, allegedly unleashed more than 20 punches on the man and was booted from the establishment by security.

About the same time Trisha Alamoti, 23, of Seaforth, was on the dance floor and was escorted out by security for drunken behaviour following an altercation.

The police facts state she tried to argue her way back into the venue when she pushed a man near the venue door, causing him to fall back a few steps.

Her friends soon joined her in arguing her case with security and, when the guards were distracted, Alamoti “ran towards the front door …. tucked her arms into her body to brace herself and shoulder barged (the man)”.

After being booted from the establishment for a second time, Alamoti unleashed a flying right fist into the jaw of a police officer after he capsicum sprayed her sister.

During the chaos Soane Viani Alamoti 26, of Wentworth Point, pushed a police officer trying to arrest a member of the group and Liam Faogali, 25, of Oakhurst, missed the target with a punch directed at a Riot Squad officer.

All four people pleaded guilty to their roles in the violence with Tuigamala’s dancefloor bashing attracting the most serious charge of affray.

The other three offenders pleaded guilty to charges including assault officer in execution of duty and hinder arrest.

The violent foursome will be sentenced in the same court in June.
