Police are on the hunt for three men involved in a terrifying late night attack which left a 21-year-old man unconscious in Sydney’s CBD. They have released images of the men they would like to speak to.

Police are on the hunt for three men believed to be linked to a terrifying late night attack which left a 21-year-old man unconscious in the middle of Sydney’s CBD.

About 2.10am on Sunday, police officers were told the victim was sitting with friends at Hyde Park, near the intersection of Liverpool and College Sts, when they were approached by three unknown men.

An altercation took place and the 21-year-old man was attacked and knocked out.

The three unknown men fled the scene and were last seen running down Elizabeth St.

The victim was taken to St Vincent’s Hospital with head and facial fractures.

Police have renewed an appeal for assistance as they attempt to track down the culprits.

They have released images of three men, aged between 20 and 30, who they believe can help the investigation.

The first man is of medium build, between 160 and 165 cm tall, with black hair.

On the night of the assault, he was wearing a white T-shirt over a black long-sleeved top, blue jeans and black Converse shoes.

The second man is described as standing between 180 and 185 cm tall, with short brown hair. He was wearing a grey hooded jumper, mustard jacket, dark blue jeans and black ‘Converse Chuck Taylor’ shoes.

The final man is believed to be between 185 and 190 cm tall, with short light brown hair. He had a hooded navy jacket, black jeans and black shoes.

Investigators are urging anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
