House-arrest like bail conditions, including reporting to police twice a day, was proposed however it was refused by the magistrate.

Zeina Awad, 27, who was also arrested at the scene and charged with a single offence of possess prescribed prohibited substance was also refused bail.

The court heard the woman had drug issues and had a bed in a residential rehabilitation facility in two weeks.

All matters will return to court in coming weeks.
