Wyoming: Man, 30, flown to Royal North Shore after falling 10 metres while lopping a tree

An arborist lopping a tree in Wyoming has been flown to Royal North Shore Hospital after falling 10 metres onto a concrete surface.

An arborist has fallen 10 metres from a tree onto a concrete surface in Wyoming.

The 30-year-old fell from a tree he was lopping for a customer at a property in Wyoming.

NSW Ambulance was first to arrive at the scene to treat the man for injuries and possible fractures to his shoulder, chest and pelvis.

CareFlight’s Rapid Response Helicopter arrived at Alan Davidson Oval, Wyoming just before 11am.

CareFlight’s specialist doctor and NSW Ambulance assessed the man’s injuries before he was

flown to Royal North Shore Hospital in a stable condition.

It’s the second day running for a rescue helicopter on the Central Coast, with a Westpac Rescue Life Saver Helicopter deployed to search for a missing bulk carrier crew member 50km off the coast yesterday. The search was suspended at last light.
