Usain Bolt: zero gravity stunt to sell champagne goes viral
HE MIGHT be the fastest man on earth with a swag of records and medals - but nobody looks graceful or cool trying to sprint in weightless conditions. This viral video proves it.

USAIN Bolt’s attempts to earn a professional contract with the Central Coast Mariners are out of this world, if his latest publicity stunt is anything to go by.
The world’s fastest man is in France fulfilling a commercial obligation, but it could easily be mistaken for outer space after video emerged of exactly how Bolt is spending his time.

Under his capacity as CEO - chief entertainment officer - for Mumm Champagne, the Jamaican spent time aboard an Airbus A380 plane in near-weightless conditions to advertise a new product for astronauts.
The plane simulates zero-gravity conditions by performing stomach-lurching parabola dives.
He participated in a mock 100m race, attempted to catch globules of free-floating champagne in his mouth and spent plenty of time floating around, describing himself as feeling like a “kid in a candy store”.
The event was committed too well before Bolt signed on for an ‘indefinite’ trial period with the Mariners.
Last month he made his debut — a 20-minute cameo against an amateur Central Coast select side — and he has his eyes set on further minutes in the pre-season.
The yellow and navy will play Central Coast United on Wednesday, a clash Bolt may have been selected for, but it now seems unlikely as he will not land back in Australia until Sunday.
