Tuggerah: Man’s body found in charity bin, police on scene
A man’s dead body has been discovered hanging out of a charity bin on the NSW Central Coast as police establish a crime scene.

A man’s body has been discovered in a charity bin at a major shopping centre on the NSW Central Coast.
Police established a crime scene in the carpark of Westfield Tuggerah after a man’s body was found early Tuesday morning, with tarpaulins set up and shopping centre customers being diverted from the area.
It is understood the legs of the body were hanging from the bin, with a push bike located nearby.
A statement from NSW Police says the body was “wedged” in the clothing bin.
“Emergency services were called to the charity bin on Wyong Rd, Tuggerah, about 4.25am, after a passer-by saw legs hanging out of the chute,” police state.
“Officers from Tuggerah Lakes Police District attended and found the body of a man wedged inside the chute. He had died at the scene.
“A crime scene has been established and investigations are now underway.”
The body, along with police tape and tarpaulins, were removed from the scene just after 9am with forensic police conducting an examination.
