The Entrance North robbery: Two men, armed with a saw and a knife wanted

Two men are wanted over a terrifying robbery at The Entrance North after they forced their way into a house before stealing jewellery, cash and credit cards.

Police are appealing for public assistance as they investigate an aggravated break and enter at The Entrance North.

Tuggerah Lakes Police were called to a home on Hutton Rd after two men forced their way in about 5.40pm on Sunday, April 26.

Police were told the men — who were armed with a saw and a knife and had their faces covered — threatened two residents, a 26-year-old man and a 66-year-old woman.

They took a handbag containing cash and credit cards, as well as jewellery before running from the house. There were no reported injuries.

The first man is described as being of caucasian appearance, aged 45-50, with greyish/thinning hair and blue eyes.

The second man is also described as being of caucasian appearance, in his mid-40s with a medium build about 180cm tall.

Anyone who was in the vicinity of Hutton Rd about the time of the break and enter — or who may have seen suspicious activity — is urged to call The Entrance Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
