These are some of the young rugby league players to watch in the Laurie Daley Cup and Andrew Johns Cup rugby league competitions. UPDATE: Grand final details, venue.

They are junior rugby league comps providing a crucial stepping stone into the big league for the young guns of the sport.

The Laurie Daley Cup is for under 18s and the Andrew Johns Cup for under 16s players with both named after NSW stars of the sport.

These two competitions have featured the best young players from across regional NSW and are crucial for player development, especially after a 2020 season interrupted by the coronavirus pandemic.

This season the Andrew Johns Cup and Laurie Daley Cup have been contested by 10 teams split into a northern and southern pools. After five rounds they entered the semi-finals with the grand final scheduled for March 27.
