Picture special: MacKillop Catholic College celebrates Year 12 formal in style

After a challenging two years, Year 12 graduates from MacKillop Catholic College farewelled the end of their high school journey in style at Mingara. See all the pre-formal photos at Toowoon Bay.

With two years marked by lockdowns and homeschooling, this year’s Year 12 cohort has done it tougher than any in the history of the HSC.

So when it came to finally letting their hair down the students of MacKillop Catholic College at Warnervale looked radiant when they stopped by Toowoon Bay for some pre-formal photos on Tuesday.

It was then on to Mingara Recreation Club for the official Year 12 formal, which only a couple of months ago looked like it might not be possible.

But thanks to NSW’s high double dose vaccination rate, the students were able to mark a fitting and glamorous end to their 13 years of schooling.

Year 12 class of 2021 we salute you!
