Ourimbah: A man, 40, and woman, 32, charged after $100k of stolen jewellery allegedly seized during car search
Two people have been charged after police pulled over a car on the freeway for a random test and allegedly uncovered $100,000 worth of stolen jewellery.

Two people have faced court after an estimated $100,000 worth of stolen jewellery was allegedly seized on the state’s Central Coast.
Tuggerah Lakes Traffic and Highway Patrol Command were conducting high visibility patrols of the Ourimbah area, when they stopped a vehicle on the M1 for random testing.
The driver was subjected to a roadside drug test which allegedly returned a positive result for methylamphetamine.
The test will go for further forensic examination.
During a search of the vehicle, officers allegedly located and seized up to 200 stolen items inside the vehicle’s dashboard, including antique jewellery, gemstones, watches, and smelted precious metals.
The alleged total value is believed to be more than $100,000.
The driver, a 40-year-old man, and his passenger, a 32-year-old woman, were arrested and taken to Wyong police station.
The man was charged with deal with property proceeds of crime and drive motor vehicle during disqualification period.
The woman was charged with deal with property proceeds of crime.
They were both due to face Wyong Local Court on Tuesday.
