IS THIS the dumbest crim on the Central Coast?
A 25-year-old man was arrested on the weekend after allegedly throwing a rock at a police car in Lake Munmorah.
A fully marked police vehicle was travelling along Anita Ave just before 11pm on Saturday when it passed a Mazda 6 travelling in the opposite direction.
It is alleged a large rock was thrown from the Mazda, hitting the police car, before the Mazda sped from the scene.
Police conducted a U-turn but lost sight of the vehicle. They attended a home at Gwandalan a short time later, arresting a 25-year-old man.
He was taken to Wyong Police Station where he was charged with drive while suspended, destroy or damage property, and intentionally throw object at vehicle.
He was refused bail to appear at Wyong Local Court today.
