Lake Munmorah: Man, 34, charged over crash in which a woman, 29, died
A man will face court next month after a crash at Lake Munmorah in which a woman, 29, died and her five-month-old baby was freed from the wreckage by witnesses.

A man has been charged following a fatal crash at Lake Munmorah.
About 8.15pm on Friday, October 16, emergency services were called to the Pacific Highway near the intersection of Colongra Bay Rd following reports a Subaru WRX and a Toyota Landcruiser had collided.
The driver of the Toyota, a 29-year-old woman, died at the scene.
Her passenger, a five-month-old girl, was freed from the vehicle by witnesses, before being taken to John Hunter Hospital for observation.
The 34-year-old male Subaru driver was taken to John Hunter Hospital under police guard for mandatory testing and observation.
His 28-year-old male passenger was also transported with minor injuries.
Tuggerah Lakes Police established a crime scene, with the Crash Investigation Unit commencing an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Following inquiries, the 34-year-old Lake Munmorah man was released from hospital and taken to Wyong Police Station where he was charged with dangerous driving occasioning death-drive manner dangerous, negligent drive occasioning death, and causing bodily harm by misconduct.
He was granted strict conditional bail and is due to appear in Wyong Local Court on Wednesday, November 18.
