A man who forced a victim to hand over his motorbike has pleaded guilty after police raided his Berkeley Vale address and found stolen goods including another motorcycle, an excavator, drugs and a customer “tick list” with his fingerprints on it.

Kurbi Househam, of Berkeley Vale, faced Wyong Local Court where his solicitor entered guilty pleas to supplying and possessing prohibited drugs, receiving stolen vehicles, intimidation, driving while disqualified and stealing.

The 22-year-old had nine other offences, included aggravated breaking and entering, withdrawn and dismissed.

An agreed set of police facts, tendered in court, states about 9.15am on August 18, 2019, a man known to Househam heard the gate to his house open and someone attempting to open the security door and garden shed.

He looked out the window and saw Househam and another man and asked “what do you want?”.

Househam told the man to come outside and demanded he hand over a KTM 450SX-F, which he said the victim’s ex-girlfriend had paid for.

“I don’t give a f..k I just want the bike,” Househam said.

“Sam (the complainant’s ex-girlfriend) paid for that, Sam said that’s mine now ... wheel (the bike) out.”

The victim wheeled it out and helped him lift it onto the back of Househam’s Holden Commodore ute.

The offender drove the vehicle back to his house.

Later, about 9pm, the victim called triple-0 and the next day provided a statement to police. A search warrant was obtained and police raided Househam’s address on St James St, Berkeley Vale.

At the premises police found the KTM 450SX-F motorbike belonging to the victim along with a “ticklist” in a yellow envelope with his fingerprints on it.

Police also found a 14.1g bag of cannabis, two bags of white powder containing 8.03g and 0.81g of cocaine, a set of scales, resealable bags, eight vials of anabolic steroids and a KTM motorbike belonging to another man.

Police also found a Kubleco excavator stolen from a business.

Househam was arrested and made full admissions to attending the victim’s house and driving while disqualified back to his address.

“The offender told police in this interview that he had been given permission to recover the bike for the offender’s ex-girlfriend Sam, who he understood had paid for the bike,” the facts read.

“However, when asked, he accepted that the complainant has at least `some part ownership of the bike’ and he said `I understand it was wrong’. He said `I understand I shouldn’t have took the bike. Youse can have the bike back, you can take it, sell it, give it to Sam, do whatever’.”

In relation to the other bike he said he knew it was stolen but said he paid $1000 for it.

Househam will be sentenced at a future date.
