Killarney Vale: Teenager remains in a coma after alleged brawl
The teenager who was critically injured in an alleged attack in Killarney Vale on Saturday remains in an induced coma.

The teenager critically injured in an alleged attack in Killarney Vale continues to fight for his life.
The 16-year-old, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, remains in an induced coma and fighting for his life at Westmead Hospital after an alleged brawl at a house party in Torres St which saw him hit his head on the roadway.
A fundraising campaign has been launched for the family, along with associated medical costs, with the hope to raise an initial amount of $15,000.
The man who set up the GoFundMe page said the teenager had undergone “multiple operations to try and save his life”.
“He is currently heavily sedated, in an induced coma and is fighting for his life,” he said.
“Regardless of how he pulls through this he and his family life has been changed forever.
“I have created this GoFundMe page to try and somewhat help the financial stress for (the teenager) and his family.”
Since creating the page on Monday, it has received over $13,000.
“I never ever thought the fundraiser would reach milestones like this ever!” the man said.
“I am taken back beyond words with how many loving and generous people there are in the world. All the families connected to (the teenager) are astounded beyond belief! Thank you so much everyone honestly.”

A 16-year-old boy has been rushed to hospital in a critical condition after he hit his head on the road following a brawl on the Central Coast.
Emergency services were called to Killarney Vale, about 8pm, on Saturday night after a brawl broke out during a house party.
Police have been told a party was being held at a home, when a group of people attended and a fight erupted outside.
It will be alleged the teen was punched in the head, causing him to fall and hit his head on the roadway.
He was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics, before being flown by CareFlight to Westmead Hospital in a critical condition.
Officers from Tuggerah Lakes Police District established a crime scene and detectives started investigating the incident.
Two men – both aged 18 – were arrested nearby and taken to Wyong police station.
One of the men, from The Entrance, has been charged with cause grievous bodily harm to person with intent.
He was granted strict conditional bail to appear before Wyong Local Court on November 10.
The second man, from Berkeley Vale, has been released pending further inquiries.
Investigations continue.
