More than 400 holiday house bookings have been taken across the Central Coast in the last fortnight.

Meanwhile, 80 per cent of holiday house properties are already booked out over the Christmas and New Year period.

Luxury holiday home provider Belle Escapes Central Coast has revealed the holiday rental business is booming like never before as the state emerges from lockdown, with the recent booking surge up 50 per cent year on year.

New properties are being added to the holiday rental lists after a huge number were bought during the pandemic boom.

General Manager of Belle Escapes Central Coast Ryan South said the business had been flat out transitioning newly purchased prestige property into luxury holiday homes to cater for the

expected rush this summer.

The additional homes include the coast’s newest holiday hot spots of Gorokan, Blue Bay and Daleys Point.

“Since Freedom Day was announced, we have experienced never-before-seen demand for our stunning waterfront properties, which are located in the best positions along the Central Coast from Macmasters Beach to Blue Bay and Killcare to Daleys Point,” Mr South said.

“Belle Escapes holiday homes cost between $300 and $2500 per night over summer and cater for between four to 14 guests, making them perfect for family reunions, couples or groups of friends wanting to catch up on lost time and missed milestones this year.

“From what we’re already seeing, holiday homes are only going to grow in popularity as groups of holiday-makers want to travel in their own bubble and spend quality time together.”

During an interview with the Express in July, Belle Property Central Coast principal Cathy Baker said the ongoing market boom had been driven by people buying holiday homes.

“It’s hard to believe, some areas are changing by millions in a day due to the competition,” she said.
