A woman from Tumbi Umbi has appeared in court charged with kidnapping, drugging and sexually abusing a 14-year-old girl on the Central Coast.
Stephanie Belthikiotis appeared at Wyong Local Court on Tuesday morning following her arrest on May 22.
In charge sheets tendered to the court police allege that Belthikiotis, 33, carried out a sexual act on the girl in Killarney Vale between 12pm on October 3 and 10am on October 4 2019.
Police allege that Belthikiotis and Greg Horton, 46, provided the girl with drugs before sexually abusing her over several hours on October 3.
Belthikiotis seemed composed in court, however it was a different story outside. She was not keen for any media attention, calling a friend to help her cover her face while exiting the courthouse.
In October last year, detectives from the State Crime Command’s Child Abuse and Sex Crimes Squad started an investigation after receiving reports that a 14-year-old girl had been drugged and sexually assaulted by a man and a woman she knew through a friend.

Belthikiotis was charged with five counts of aggravated intentionally do sexual act with child (aged between 10 and 16), three counts of intentionally sexually touch child (aged between 10 and 16), take/detain person in company with intent to obtain advantage.
