Holly Johnstone, of Booker Bay, pleads guilty to possessing weapons and drugs
A Booker Bay woman has appeared before court after police found drugs including cocaine as well as a taser and capsicum spray hidden in her bedroom.

A Booker Bay mum, who had weapons and drugs including cocaine hidden throughout her bedroom, has entered pleas in court.
Holly Johnstone appeared at Gosford Local Court on Friday where she entered pleas to weapons and drugs charges.
The 34-year-old pleaded guilty to two counts of possessing or using a prohibited weapon without a permit and three counts of possess a prohibited drug including 0.18g of ketamine, 4.3g of methylamphetamine and 0.13g of cocaine.
Ms Johnston pleaded not guilty to one count of supplying a prohibited drug and one count of possess a prohibited drug with the court hearing she allegedly possessed and supplied 198g of methylamphetamine.
Ms Johnstone was convicted of the offences in her absence on June 9 after failing to attend court however her defence lawyer applied for the convictions to be annulled on Friday.
She told the court Ms Johnston’s failure to attend was due to a “miscommunication”.
Magistrate Jennifer Price annulled the convictions noting that “these are serious charges” before accepting Ms Johnston’s pleas.
An agreed set of facts tendered to the court state that Ms Johnstone, a manager of a fruit business, had no previous drugs charges on her “limited criminal history’.
On May 17 2022 detectives were granted a search warrant and had to force their way into Ms Johnston’s townhouse in Booker Bay as no one was home.
Police found one black taser and a can of capsicum spray in a set of drawer’s in Ms Johnston’s bedroom, along with resealable clear sachets with white powder in various locations around the bedroom and ensuite.
Police also allegedly found a black safe in her walk-in wardrobe with 198g of methylamphetamine, scales, gift cards, straws and resealable sachets.
“Of note was a signature on the rear of a gift card located in the safe which appeared to match the signature depicted on Holly Johnston’s current passport,” the facts stated.
Ms Johnstone attended Gosford Police Station on the night of May 17 and during a police interview admitted to possessing the weapons, the 4.3g of ice and cocaine. She denied possessing or supplying the 198g of methylamphetamine police allegedly found in the safe.
Ms Johnston’s bail was continued and her matter was adjourned to August 11.
