Erina: High-range drink-driver clocked 150km/h in 70km/h zone
A man allegedly recorded a blood-alcohol reading more than three times the legal limit after police say he was clocked travelling almost 150km/h in a 70km/h zone at Erina.

A man will face court later this month after being clocked allegedly travelling more than double the speed limit before police say he blew three times the legal blood-alcohol limit.
Brisbane Water Highway Patrol officers were patrolling the Central Coast Highway about 11.55pm on Friday, December 3, when they saw a Kia Picanto travelling east, allegedly at high speed.
A radar check showed the vehicle was travelling at 149km/h in the 70km/h zone.
The driver was stopped and subjected to a roadside breath test which allegedly proved positive.
The 24-year-old man was arrested and taken to Gosford Police Station where he allegedly returned a breath analysis reading of 0.164 — more than three times the legal limit.
The man, from East Gosford, was charged with high-range drink-driving and driving recklessly, furiously or at a speedor manner dangerous.
He was granted conditional bail to appear in Gosford Local Court on Wednesday, December 22.
His licence was suspended and confiscated.
