A MASSIVE crane tower has been constructed over Gosford CBD, as work to John Singleton’s Bonython Tower development jumps ahead of schedule.
Concrete has been laid, pylons constructed and the building is starting to come together for the $35 million development, on the former Dutton’s Tavern site in Mann St.
The development, which will include 56 luxury apartments, office space and a restaurant, cafe and bar, has had huge interest, prompting Mr Singleton to release another 10 units.
“Interest in the property has been amazing,” the millionaire ad mogul said.
“So much so, that I have decided to release the 10 units I was personally holding onto, to the market. I want as many people as possible to live the dream of owning the best units or office space in the best location, in the heart of the Gosford CBD”.
The project, by Stevens Constructions, is well ahead of its December 2018 completion date.
“These units are beautifully designed and appointed and enjoy great views over the Central Coast,” Mr Singleton said.
“The office space is large and can be sized to fit individual needs. All this commercial space enjoys connectivity to the cafe, restaurant and bar on the ground floor, and will allow you to cement your business in the premier commercial building in Gosford.”
During an exclusive interview with the Express Advocate in February, Mr Singleton called the development “the beginning of the Central Coast boom”.
“I want Gosford to be a part of the future rather than a part of the past,” Mr Singleton said.
“Bonython will be as big a shock to Gosford as Bells was to Killcare — it’s going to be that good.”
