Health authorities have said all seven new Covid cases across the Central Coast were infectious in the community.
The seven cases form part of NSW’s tally of 1288 in the 24 hours to 8pm on Wednesday night.
NSW Health chief medical officer Dr Kerry Chant said there were concerns regarding the new coast cases.
“Three of those are linked to previously notified cases,” she said.
“Unfortunately all the cases were infectious in the community.”
Dr Chant said NSW Health was also concerned about unlinked cases across the coast and said people should be on the look out for symptoms especially in areas of Lake Munmorah, Charmhaven, San Remo, Budgewoi, Lake Haven and Gorokan.
NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian said NSW had reached seven million vaccinations with 70 per cent of the state having received their first doses.
Central Coast Local Health District (CCLHD) has advised of new exposure sites.

The Central Coast has recorded another two cases of Covid, bringing the number of cases to 63 during the current outbreak.
The cases are part of the NSW tally of 1116 new cases in the 24 hours to 8pm on Tuesday night.
Central Coast Local Health District has conformed the cases, with one linked to a previously notified case.
“The second case is linked to a worksite in Sydney. Both were in the community while infectious,” a CCLHD spokeswoman said.
“A total of seven cases have now been linked to the KI Building Services exposure site. Anyone who attended the site (including the site office) between 20 and 27 August 2021 is considered a close contact and should get tested and isolate for 14 days since their last
exposure at the site.
“A review of Service NSW check-in data for the KI Building Services site at North Gosford indicated incomplete data and inadequate records. Local police have been informed and are undertaking ongoing compliance checks and inspections of the site.”
The Express has made attempts to contact KI Building Services.
A further three exposure sites have also been identified.
Anyone who attended these venues on the dates and times listed is a casual contact. Casual contacts must immediately get tested and isolate until they receive a negative result.

It comes as Robertson federal Liberal MP Lucy Wicks announced that more vaccines are on the way to the coast in September.
An additional 40 coast GPs are also set to join the Pfizer rollout.
“In addition to the 15 GPs already administering Pfizer, over 40 GPs in the region will also start administering both the Pfizer and Vaxzevria (previously known as AstraZeneca) COVID-19 vaccines,” Ms Wicks said.
“This will provide more points of presence for Central Coast residents to get a COVID-19 vaccine, and I encourage everyone looking to receive their vaccine to call your local GP or community pharmacy and book.
She said 65 per cent of Central Coast residents had received at least one Covid vaccination.
“Over the next few months, we expect additional COVID-19 vaccines to be available for Central Coast residents, including Moderna, which is expected to arrive this month,” she said.
EARLIER – Tuesday, August 31
The Central Coast has recorded another four cases of Covid in the 24 hours to 8pm last night.
The new cases bring the number of active cases to 61 during the current outbreak.
Central Coast Local Health District (CCLHD) said all four cases were linked to previously notified cases.
Two of the cases were in isolation while infectious and two have been infectious in the
community.
A further two exposure sites have been identified with anyone at the following two shops at the times listed must immediately get tested and isolate until they receive a negative result.
■ Aldi, Wyoming, on Thursday, August 26 from 5.10pm to 5.35pm
■ Bowen’s Pharmacy, Wyoming Shopping Centre, on Saturday, August 28 from 2.45pm to 3pm.
Another two cases were recorded in Lake Macquarie.
NSW Deputy Premier John Barilaro said the coast’s new cases was “concerning” but praised the region for its vaccination rates with 63.9 per cent of the adult population receiving their first dose and 34.4 per cent with double doses.
The coast has been recording about 4200 tests daily with the 2250 postcode having the most active cases on the coast as of August 29 with 15.
The postcode covers the surrounding suburbs of Gosford, East Gosford, Erina, Holgate, Kariong, Matcham, Lisarow, Mount White and out to Bucketty, Calga and Central Mangrove.
The 2259 postcode, which covers the surroundings suburbs of Dooralong, Jilliby, Kanwal, Chain Valley Bay, Hamlyn Terrace, Gwandalan and Lake Munmorah has 13 active cases
This is followed by nine active cases in the 2263 postcode, which covers Gorokan, Charmhaven, Toukley, Norah Head, Lake Haven and Noraville.
The 2262 postcode, which covers Blue Have, Budgewoi, Buff Point, Doyalson, Halekulani and San Remo has four active cases while the 2257 postcode including the suburbs surrounding Booker Bay, Killcare, Ettalong Beach, Empire Bay, Umina and St Huberts Island has three active cases.
The 2261 and 2256 postcodes, which includes the suburbs surrounding Woy Woy, Patonga, Horsfield Bay and Blackwall in the south and Chittaway Bay through to Berkeley Vale, Tumbi Umbi, Long Jetty and The Entrance North, have two active cases each.
It comes as Central Coast businesses have received more than $86 million in grant funding processed and approved by Service NSW.
This is nearly four times more than the $22 million coast businesses received from the NSW Government during last year’s lockdown.
Terrigal State Liberal MP Adam Crouch said Service NSW staff were overwhelmed by the number of funding requests.
“I want to apologise for the initial delay in the rollout of these funds,” Mr Crouch said.
“An additional 150 staff have been hired and trained by Service NSW. Since August 6 these staff having been working around-the-clock to clear the backlog and supplement the work of 258 existing staff members already processing funding requests.”
It comes as teachers in regional communities across the state will soon be able to book priority Covid-19 jabs as part of a co-ordinated vaccination day set to take place across NSW.
Deputy Premier John Barilaro said NSW Health was working alongside NSW Education and Minister Sarah Mitchell to lock in a date for the teacher vaccination day.
The regional vaccination day for teachers is expected to line up with the Qudos Bank Arena Mass Vaccination days scheduled to take place for Sydney educators from September 6.
Mr Barilaro said Local Health Districts, particularly in areas of concern, were organising “a series of walk-in clinics” to be opened across regional communities for teachers to access.
In August, teachers were told by the Department of Education they must be vaccinated before all students return to school.
“For those who refuse to be vaccinated, it will not be possible for us to maintain their employment in a school setting,” Department of Education secretary Georgina Harrisson told a Parliamentary Hearing last month.

Six new cases of Covid have been recorded across the Central Coast.
The number, included in the NSW tally of 1290, is a high jump for the region which has been averaging around 6-8 per week.
Central Coast Local Health District (CCLHD) said the source of one of the new cases was “under investigation”.
“Five cases are close contacts of previously notified cases. None of the cases were in isolation while infectious,” a CCLHD spokeswoman said.
“There have now been 56 local cases of COVID-19 since the start of the current outbreak, after one case reported yesterday was excluded following further investigation.”
Deputy Premier John Barilaro said the jump in numbers signalled that locals should be “alert of what’s happening in your community” and get tested.
Over the weekend, four new Covid cases were recorded along with fragments of the virus in Charmhaven, Gosford-Kincumber, Bateau Bay and Toukley sewage systems.
New exposure sites have also emerged, linked to previous positive cases, including major shopping centres Erina Fair and Tuggerah Westfield.
