A convicted sex offender who continued a sleazy relationship with a 14-year-old girl, despite knowing her age, has been thrown back in jail after being caught with young children in his home.
Brendon Gunn, 23, was charged by police just two months after being released on parole for the vile sex crime that rocked the Central Coast last year.
In April, two months into his release, parole authorities were altered to the fact that he failed to disclose there were three young children in his home, which is against his conditions of release as a sex offender.
They had also flagged that Gunn had threatened to cut his ankle monitoring bracelet off, according to court documents.
“They know about that,” Gunn reportedly told officers when they noticed a child in his home.
In July police then charged him with breaching an AVO for contacting an ex-girlfriend he subjected to domestic violence.
“Hope you are having a good day what did you get up to x” the messages said according to court documents.
“Why are you ignoring me?”.
The woman feared he would show up at her door, court documents state.
Gunn, from Woy Woy, was initially jailed last year for having sex with a 14-year-old girl twice before her mother reported her missing when she stayed the night with him.
Her brother had texted Gunn to tell him the girl was actually 14 and not 20, though he then went on to have sex with her twice more, a court heard last year.
His sentencing hearing was told Gunn and the girl were seen cuddling and kissing on one trip to the Deepwater Plaza Shopping Centre after he was told of her real age.
Gunn was sentenced to an 18-month jail term after pleading guilty to two counts of having sex with the minor but was released on Valentine’s Day this year when his non-parole period of eight months had been served.
Having since been convicted of failing to report his contact with children while on parole and breaching an AVO, he will now serve the remainder of his jail term.
Gunn will be released on December 14.
