Two police officers injured while attending a job at Gosford

Two police have reportedly been taken hospital after attending a job at Gosford.

Two police have been injured after attending what is understood to have been a domestic-related incident at Gosford.

One officer is believed to have suffered a broken nose.

The two police had attended a job when a man reportedly produced a weapon, possibly a knife, and attacked them as they called for “urgent assistance”.

Other officers attended the scene and arrested a man who is understood to be assisting them with their inquiries.

The Express Advocate has been told the two officers were taken to Gosford Hospital with injuries.
